Sam Petyt Design has moved to the Isle of Skye

I’ve recently made the move to Drumfearn on the Isle of Skye and I’m looking forward to becoming part of the local business community here - offering graphic design, branding and website design services for Skye-based businesses and beyond.

A bit about what I do

While much of my work is often described as graphic design, my approach goes a little deeper than visuals alone.

I help businesses clarify their brand, communicate clearly, and look professional across every touchpoint — from logos and visual identity to websites and marketing materials. My work is focused on creating design that’s not just attractive, but useful, considered, and fit for purpose.

Much of my experience has been working with:

  • Small and independent businesses

  • Service-based companies

  • Tourism and hospitality businesses

  • Third sector

  • Organisations that need clarity, consistency, and confidence in how they present themselves

How I can help Skye-based businesses

I provide the following services:

  • Brand identity & logo design – for new businesses or those ready to refresh.

  • Websites – clear, well-structured sites that are easy to manage and designed to convert using Squarespace, Framer and Figma.

  • Brand clarity – helping you articulate what you do, who you’re for, and why it matters.

  • Ongoing design support – practical, regular design assistance as your business grows.

Whether you’re starting something new, refining what you already have, or simply feeling that your brand or website no longer reflects the quality of your service, I can help you move things forward.

I help local trades like Solar Boost make a great first impression and improve their business recognition throughout the area.

Working locally, thinking long-term

I’ve worked with clients all over Scotland and beyond, but being based on Skye means I’m now available for local Skye-based projects, ongoing relationships, and face-to-face conversations and consultation.

If you’re a Skye-based business and would like to talk about branding, websites, or design support — even just for a chat — you’re very welcome to get in touch. I look forward to meeting you!
